September 27th

Sept. 23

Today we learned about controlling distractions and the power of routines. Go through this ppt.

Sept. 21

Today we talked about focus. We did some exercises in class and then you were assigned to practice 1 or 2 focus exercises everyday for a week and keep track on a focus log handed out in class.

We talked about Confidence and specifically looked at simulation training

I was gone, but you made commercials about your commitment to excellence.

Finished watching Rudy. Passed off INvictus. Turned in folders.

Sept. 7th

Today we learned about being mentally tough. Go through the Mental toughness ppt. You have the option of two different projects: memorizing the poem Invictus or creating your own motivational poster

Today we will start our first assessment. We will be watching the movie Rudy and finding specific examples of the principles we have discussed this unit. Your folder will be due next time.

Today we talked about being physically tough. Look at ppt, complete sport and self analysis and print off the nutrition log. Don't forget to come in comfortable clothes next time that you can work out in.
